Mechanical Simulation Engineer Power Generation Solutions

FERCHAU Poland is currently seeking a Mechanical Simulation Engineer to join our team and support structural FEA analysis projects focused on the development of engines and power generation units! Your responsibilities: Development of FEA/MES models for key engine components Execution of thermo-mechanical simulations, including heat and stress modeling, as well as structural dynamics analyses Creation and enhancement of Python-based pre- and post-processing workflows Optimization and streamlining of simulation setup, assessment, and evaluation processes Provision of analysis-driven insights and technical guidance to support product development and engineering decisions Collaboration with mechanical development specialists and technical experts to address complex engineering challenges Your profile: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field At least 3 years of commercial experience in FEA/CAE simulations using ANSYS or Abaqus Python programming skills, particularly for automation tasks Experience with data visualization tools such as Dash/Plotly Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (minimum B2/C1 level) Experience (or a strong interest) with generative design methods and tools Nice to Have: Familiarity with additive manufacturing technologies Understanding of hydrogen technologies and their applications What awaits you at FERCHAU: Rock solid stability of a company established in 1966 with more than 120 branches Reputable international customers offering projects not available in Poland before Great working atmosphere with a close-knit team of friendly people Team-building events Attractive offices in convenient city locations, modern software and hardware at your disposal Medicover card Multisport Employee referral programme Is what we offer a perfect fit for you?
