Senior Technical Business Analyst – Aws & Data

Contract length: 5–6 months (plus extension) Start: ASAP Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands Working model: Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote About the role We are looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst / Information Analyst to join the Uptime Services Team in Eindhoven. You will bridge the gap between business and IT, translating business needs into functional requirements and designs for data and software solutions in an AWS-based data environment. You will work closely with data, DevOps and software engineers, a solution architect and a functional application manager. The team works with technologies including AWS, Airflow, Glue, Lambda, S3, Terraform, PySpark, Iceberg and Snowflake. Current projects include developing a scalable Smart Service Alert system based on vehicle telemetry data, further development of Vehicle State Tracking, migrating data sources to a cloud-based data lakehouse, and developing data management tools and data models. Key responsibilities Define functional system requirements for new solutions on the platform Translate business needs into clear technical and functional requirements Create functional designs and specifications for solutions to be implemented by the development team Analyze existing systems and processes and identify opportunities for improvement Document and visualize processes, requirements and solution designs clearly Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, data teams and architects Support the Functional Application Manager with test scenarios and validation of functional requirements Key requirements 6 years of relevant professional experience Previous experience as a Technical Business Analyst, System Analyst, Information Analyst or similar Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience translating business requirements into functional/technical solutions Experience with requirements analysis and functional design Good understanding of IT development processes and modern IT/data environments Strong documentation and process visualization skills Ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team Excellent English communication skills Technical HBO / University-level education Nice to have Experience with AWS and/or cloud-based data platforms Experience with data lakes / data lakehouses Knowledge of Snowflake, Airflow or other data platform technologies Knowledge of architecture principles, such as SOLID Knowledge of DAMA principles Experience in automotive or After Sales
