For more than 35 years, HÖRMANN Logistik GmbH, with currently approx. 130 employees at the locations in Munich, Germany and Graz, Austria and the subsidiaries in Gdansk, Poland and Hungary, has assumed overall responsibility for the realisation of complex intralogistics systems specially tailored to customer requirements as new systems as well as for the modernisation of existing systems during ongoing operation.
As a general contractor, we implement innovative, fully automatic storage and conveyor systems, such as automatic high-bay warehouses for a wide variety of load carriers or small parts warehouses, including the connecting conveyor technology, control technology and the HiLIS warehouse management system. In addition, we are involved in the new Robotics Solutions business field, such as Mico Fulfilment Centres, Robotics and AGV, as well as extremely successfully with the AutoStore system. We have been successfully integrating AutoStore for six years and are expanding into CEE in the future, where Poland has emerged as an important piece of the puzzle.

In the course of an ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for an experienced and motivated General Manager (m/f/d) for our subsidiary in Gdansk, Poland, with immediate effect, who is familiar with the market and will further increase the sales of our company.
As a General Manager (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the jointly agreed incoming order targets together with your team. You have joint responsibility for the project results and contribute to increasing the quality and productivity in sales through your activities.
Further development, management and organisation of the sales team
Representing the company externally to customers and suppliers
Generating leads through various channels, such as trade fair presentations, lectures, webinars, input for the marketing department, etc.
Preparing offers and conducting negotiations as well as presenting the developed solutions to the customer
Conducting contract and price negotiations
Support and maintenance of customer relationships
Preparing project schedules and calculations with your team
Developing and implementing measures to improve quality and efficiency
Regular comparison of incoming order targets with the actual incoming orders achieved and initiation of measures if necessary
Leadership, motivation and promotion of employees through clear target agreements
Completed studies as (industrial) engineer or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in sales, ideally in the intralogistics sector on the Eastern European market
Leadership experience and distinct ability to work in a team as well as motivating, team- and performance-oriented employee management
Convincing communication skills and negotiation skills
Goal-oriented and independent work
Strong quality and process orientation - even in complex projects
Very good knowledge of Polish and English, both written and spoken
